A new study, involving Professor Platt of CPHS, has revealed the widening gap in suicide rates between Scotland and England & Wales due, to a large extent, to the number of young Scottish men taking their lives.

ESRC Studentships Now Available
The Centre for Population Health Sciences is accepting applications for ESRC studentships. The Centre is able to provide postgraduate research and training in the Health Pathway with particular strengths in the Sociology of Health and Illness, Health Economics, Health Policy and Health Promotion.
